Take off steering cowl, drill hole in ignition, pull spring, done.
We drilled a hole on that flat rectangular bit. Metal shavings went everywhere but oh well, no more stuck wheel!
No joke it took longer to refit the cowl.

I gave up on trying to reinstall the kick panel on the driver side :/
E36 interior... horrible.

I haven’t had any issues taking mine apart and putting it back together yet, and it’s been... very apart.
Some of it does take a bit of convincing to put back together though.

Your door cards look OK. When they warp.... they warp. current coupe has good panels, my 2nd one not so much and my 1st had perfect panels on all 4 doors.
